About Me

Dawn is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Texas. She graduated the intensive 500 hour program from Hands On Approach School & Spa. She also has first aid and CPR training and passed the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam. Dawn has continued her education and now has the ability to offer more types of massage such as Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, Neuromuscular Reprogramming, Orthopedic Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Stone, Reflexology. She plans to continue her education with completion of Advanced Therapy courses in the near future. She keeps up with all the latest information through her membership with the American Massage Therapy Association. Dawn enjoys making people feel better. Dawn looks forward to furthering her career in massage modalities that can assist the sick and help improve the quality of life.

Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, her family swept across the country to California when she was 4 years old. Dawn grew up in a desert town North of Los Angeles. She loved to be active and explore the mountains, took ballet lessons at ages 8 and 9 though she does not remember any of it! Dawn participated in archery, soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball and track teams in school. She was riding horses at the early age of 4 but after moving to a new town at age 8 she has not had much time around horses and misses it.

In her spare time, Dawn loves walking, going to the lake, enjoying the outdoors, fossil hunting, swimming, yoga, live performances, music, and spending time with her family, friends and dogs.

Dawn is very passionate about her work and helping others, she has a dream to someday do something big to help the number of shelter animals decline and stop backyard breeding for good. She currently has 2 chihuahua babies that are as spoiled as can be!

Becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist has given Dawn new perspectives on life - she feels at peace with where she is at and wants everyone around her to feel the same way.
